The Resurrection: Fraud, Fable, or Fact (Part 2)
Christianity has held the resurrection of Jesus as the central pillar of its faith. Take that away and the whole thing comes toppling down. It's unsurprising, then, that skeptics have targeted the resurrection accounts throughout the history of the Church. In this two-part talk, Lenny looks at the charges claiming the resurrection accounts were either forgeries intent to deceive their audiences or fables that grew to be believed and demonstrates why either position comes up short.

The Sickness of Self - Discussion with Ken Samples (Part 2)
The Sickness of Self - Discussion with Ken Samples (Part 2)
The driveness of “self” has plagued humanity since the garden of Eden. Yet, from that time until now, God has called us to be self-less. To consider others “better than” ourselves. What it is this “sickness of self”? What drives it? And what does it look like when the Great Physician heals us of this? Are we more prone to selfishness in our culture of radical individualism? In this engaging discussion, Lenny is joined by Kenneth Samples of Reasons to Believe to discuss the Sickness of Self, how our society is rife with it, and what it means to love your neighbor more than yourself.

Will You Be an Apprentice or an Arsonist? (Part 2)
Will You Be an Apprentice or an Arsonist? (Part 2)
The Bible is the authoritative text for Christianity. It is why cults of Christianity have to twist and distort the meaning of Bible verses in order to justify their belief systems. But many times, Christians are guilty of abusing biblical passages too! In this study of Luke 17, Lenny demonstrates how familiar stories can be misunderstood by believers by ignoring the passages' larger context and then outlines what marks maturity in Christians believers.

In this session, Lenny provides parents and young people with specific tools to solidify their faith and help them see why Christianity makes the most sense of our world.

Four Marks of the One True Church (Part 2)
What does it mean to be a Christian? That question was as pressing to believers in the first centuries of the Church’s existence as it is to us today. How do we know if a church that claims to be Christian really is? The Church Fathers crafted the Nicaean Creed to help answer that question and included the line that the church should be “one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.” But what do each of these identifiers mean? Here, Lenny explains why Christians should recognize they aren’t part of individual faiths but the one true faith given to all saints. Listen in.

The Need for a Creed — Knowing the Truth about God (Part 2)
What do we mean when we say we’re Christians? Is it enough to claim to follow Christ? Mormons and others who have radically different views of the nature of God, the nature of Jesus, and key matters of faith have also claimed to be Christian, but that doesn’t mean they are. In this key study, Lenny examines how creeds became central to defining the essential elements of the Christian faith and how important they are in establishing true from false beliefs.

The Necessity of a "Risky" Faith (Part 2)
Statistics show that while we are living in an age of incredible prosperity and comfort, people are becoming more and more depressed. Why? It seems the more humans pursue material standards of success, the less happy they become. In a motivational teaching to start the new year, Lenny looks at how Jesus upends the assumptions of success and offers four practical ways Christians can become more focused in our discipleship.
